Sat., April 25 –Spring Adopt-a-Highway Trash Pick-up
Come join TLRC’s members an friends for this semi-annual event. We’ll meet at Mt. Moriah cemetery at 11:00 a.m. and spread out along the Towpath from there. Although there will be a winter’s worth of debris to collect, with a robust “litter police” squad, we should get the job done quite quickly. As usual, we’ll be joined by volunteers from the Bernt Balchen Chapter of the Sons of Norway and the Men of Bethel. Afterward, we’ll gather for a bit of socializing and lunch at the Rowland Cafe.
After lunch there will still be time to visit the Environmental Expo at Bingham Park in Hawley, PA. While you’re there don’t forget to stop by TLRC’s display.
