The Lackawaxen River Conservancy is hosting a screening of Emmy Award winning documentary, The Next Frontier: Engineering the Golden Age of Green, on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at the PPL Environmental Center, Rte. 6, Hawley, PA.
This one-hour documentary focuses on the renewable, clean energy technologies that can improve our future and create significant economic and job opportunities. Host Becky Worley of ABC’s Good Morning America travels the world looking for the solutions that address the serious problems of excessive carbon dioxide emissions and our dependence on fossil fuels.
The Next Frontier was honored for Outstanding Achievement: Documentary and Outstanding Achievement: Graphics and Animation.
